I really found the games the authors suggest to start at home prior to traveling useful, things that will help have the kids under control with a fun tone for everyone. Besides, these games make the kids get into the traveling mode and let them know what to expect, what probably reduces a lot of stress for them and makes things run smoother.This book might inspire parents not only to travel, but to educate properly their children. Traveling with children means having them learn good manners from an early age, something that sometimes can take longer to happen at home since on the road you can't just hide in your house when things get rough.
I think the book was very inspiring. I had traveled a lot with my 4-year old before reading it, but I think it would have helped me tremendously to have read it before.

This is a fantastic book which goes far beyond the usual advice found in "family travel guides", this is an in depth detailed guide to not just surviving travel with children but making it an enjoyable and valuable family experience. I would highly recommend this book to anyone planning a trip with children but I would also strongly recommend it to anyone simply dreaming of travelling with kids as I found it very inspirational. Very worthwhile purchase!
as Keri wellman's youngest daghter I like reading this book over and over because for me, it brings back a lot of memories. but I do think it is a insperational book. and I don't say that because she's my mom but because I do, highly recomend it to any moms who are planning to travel with their children.
